NICOLE LEBRIS

I've been obsessed with this industry since I was a teenager. In high school, I used to wait for every new issue of Top Model Magazine and watch movies and TV, imagining what it was like behind the scenes. I was fascinated by it all. I knew I wanted to be part of that world somehow.I found my way in through makeup and hair (I went to school for special effects makeup), working on productions before spending years as a plus-size model. It was an exciting time to be part of the body positivity movement, helping women see beauty represented in all shapes and sizes.
Modeling introduced me to incredible photographers and creatives, inspiring me to pick up a camera of my own. What started as photographing friends grew into a career shooting for agencies, fashion brands, and commercial clients. After meeting my husband, Danny, and having our two girls (one who shares my passion for the industry), here we are starting our own agency and doing it the way I always wanted and wished my agencies had done it. This industry has brought me lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and so much joy, and I'm excited to help the next generation discover those same opportunities.

I spent four years in college studying psychology by day and dreaming about becoming a model by night. After graduating, I moved to New York City, started bartending, and eventually signed with my first modeling agency, mostly working as a fit model. But I still dreamed about being on set and doing photo shoots, so in a very bold move, I Facebook messaged Nicole LeBris, one of the top photographers shooting plus-size models at the time, and told her I’d assist her for free. I just wanted to learn, and she was the person I wanted to learn from. I started assisting Nicole on shoots, fell even more in love with the industry, and eventually signed with one of the biggest plus-size modeling agencies at the time, going on to have an incredible career. Then COVID happened, the industry changed, and my life changed right along with it. I got pregnant, left the city, and transitioned into working full-time as a content creator, sharing my life, motherhood, and my approach to style and confidence. Through all of those chapters, Nicole and I stayed close friends — so when she came to me years later with a business idea, it felt incredibly full circle.JKMT brings together so many things I love: modeling, fashion, creativity, motherhood, and helping others feel confident. Now I get to take everything I learned from years in front of and behind the camera and use it to help young talent navigate the industry, build their careers, and feel confident while doing it. And honestly, it feels like exactly where I’m supposed to be.
DANNY LEE ALLEN

I spent most of my adult life as a professional musician, touring around the world and experiencing everything from a No. 1 single to playing alongside some of the artists I grew up admiring. Music gave me an incredible creative life, but photography had always been another passion quietly running alongside it.After meeting my wife, Nicole, I was introduced to a whole new creative world. What began as a hobby with a camera gradually became a second career. We spent several years photographing weddings together in New York before I moved into fashion photography, primarily shooting male models in Miami. Working with models, agencies and others within the industry gave me an entirely different perspective on what happens on both sides of the camera. Then our daughter Lou Lou started modeling, and I got to experience the industry from yet another side — this time as a parent. Taking her to castings, fittings and shoots taught me a huge amount about what families actually experience while navigating this business, from the excitement of a booking to all the uncertainty that can come before it.JKMT feels like a natural meeting point for all of those experiences. I get to bring together a lifetime spent in creative industries, years behind the camera, and the perspective of a parent who’s been through the process himself. More than anything, I have a genuine appreciation for what this journey can mean to a child and their family, and I love being able to help make it a positive one.
